On a routine 6 month lab work with my endocrinologist , he picked up a hematuria of 3+,recommended I see a urologist , 1st test was 1+ and the one earlier this week was 2+. No symptoms but I need to know what type of questions I should be asking? No cancer detected in kidneys when done end of April.
Hello Dear. Most common causes of hematuria- urinary infection, urinary stones and renal cancer in elderly people. Kindly meet a urolist. USG abdomen and CT scan may be necessary to rule out any pathology.
