Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Hiccups may be due to diaphragmatic irritation or phrenic nerve injury or renal failure or pneumonia or electrolyte imbalance etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Get it done chest x-ray and ultrasound abdomen. use tablet baclofen.

If you have an allergy to above drug or symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
