Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 63 years old mother has been fainting (syncope) unexpectedly. Her normal ECG and overall condition is fine, but she has high blood pressure. Her doctor recommends to implant Medtronic Reveal. She found out at home she has exercise induced bradycardia on a home treadmill about 10% of the time. Would you still recommend the implantion of Reveal, or see if the bradycardia can be reproduced with an ECG at the doctor?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your mother and looking to the history a I would say that if the CT head is not done then get it done this is important, this would rule out the possibility of cerebral pathology, take care and have a nice day
