What Causes High Blood Pressure And Chest Discomfort?
My husbands blood pressure is 148/93 and has mild chest pressure and a little twinge down left arm. He thinks it s heart burn and he was driving go carts earlier and thinks that explains arm pain. I think he should get checked out, do you think he should?

High blood pressure (148/93) if associated with mild chest pressure is suggestive of any cardiovascular event.
I highly recommend to send him to ER to rule out infarct or any ischemic heart disease.
If this is ruled out, then, we can treat him for heart burn.
