What Causes High Body Temperature During Night?
My child is 5 year old and had fever for the past 5 days with high temperature mainly during night time. We gave paracetamol and the temperature goes down and again goes up. Now she has worse cough and blocked nose. the cough even had blood in it. didn't get any appointment at the doctors. Could you please help

Your child is suffering from infection. And infection is the cause of fever.Since fever is 5 days old she needs to be evaluated and needs antibiotic as well. Blood in sputum could be due to vigorous coughing or due to infection. Consult your doctor as soon as possible. Pneumonia needs to be ruled out.
