What Causes High Eosinophil Count?
Iam from Chennai, I have high Esinophill count - 18. And in the absolute esnophill count is above 650. - Have taken medication for infection, de-worming, with no respite. I do not have GERD. I don’t have any other infection. Is there any diagnoses to pin point the problem, can this condition be solved – now a days I have heavy head and heavy breathing.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
High eosinophil counts is seen in allergies like asthma, urticaria, hay fever; parasitic infections like round worm hook worm, etc, drug allergy, neoplasms etc.
There is another group called idiopathic eosinophilic syndrome characterized by increase in eosinophils without any underlying disease.
A search for above mentioned causes has to be made.
In case no cause is found, the condition is idiopathic.
Treatment of eosinophilia is aimed at controlling the symptoms associated with release of chemical mediators from eosinophils.

Well come to HCM
In most of the absolute eosinophilic count increase is allergic condition some time auto-immune disorder may be the reason and if treated the underlying cause this can be cured, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
