What Causes High Fever After A Sinus Surgery?
my 24 year old had sinus surgery yesterday morning. now has 104 fever despite taking hydrocodone/acetiminophen as prescribed. doctor office said drink more fluids and cough/deep breaths 10 times per hour. he is also taking amoxicillin. could fever be side effect of the hydro? seems unlikely since meds contain acetaminophen

The fever may be from an infection as a result of the procedure. He should continue to take antibiotics for infection, also acetaminophen to lower temperature.
