What Causes High Ggt Number In Liver Blood Test? Can It Increase With Ambien Or Tagamet Intake?

What causes the ggt number in a liver blood test to be really high? Can taking too much ambien or tagamet or excedrin cause this number to be high. Normal was from 1-60 and mine was at 95 - 3 months ago and now is at 153 and I can't get in to see the specialist until Sept 3rd. Thank you YYYY@YYYY

yes some drugs, including these can cause ggt elevation but also alcohol and some liver diseases can do it as well. Wish you good health. Regards
