What Causes High Values Of EIA And CPK?
My Anti GAD Antibody , by EIA is showing 2000 IU/ML & CPK is 135 IU/Lt. What this meam . Is it possible to have such high value for any person . What is its effect on body. I am taking Wysolne 5mg in morning & 5mg valium in evening daily from last one year. pls mail on YYYY@YYYY

I want to ask you question.
1. For which disease you are taking wysolone since 1 year.
2. Have you checked FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar) and PPBS (Post Prandial Blood Sugar) to rule out Diabetes?
Long term steroids can cause diabetes, myositis, hypertension, osteoporosis, mood swings etc.
High Anti GAD antibodies indicates Dm type 1.
High CPK suggest myositis.
So both can be explained by long term use of steroid (wysolone).
So if possible avoid this drug.
