Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Hives, Abdominal Pain And Shivering In The Body?
acute abdominal pain, then while on toilet, started shivering a lot and broke out in hives. The abdominal pain has subsided but the hives are still persisting although not as bad either. Light shivering still, but may be due to nerves. I thought I was just having cramps from drinking too much milk as that happens sometimes, but it has never progressed to this state.
The presence of hives means that you are having an allergic reaction to something. If it is some food it may also cause the abdominal pain. You might need to take some benadryl to help with the hives (be cautious of its use if you have to drive or do activities that need attention as it may cause drowsiness). If you develop any swelling in the eyes, lips or face you will need to run to the emergency yard. Meanwhile try to be watchful what might be causing the symptoms and if there is a certain connection with certain food or chemicals that might be causing it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General & Family Physician
