My 7 yr old daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Yesterday, at a picnic, moments after taking a few sips of Raspberry Snapple iced tea, she started to get hives. She's had raspberries with no reaction and she's had iced tea with no reaction. Is it possible there was something in the Snapple that caused the reaction? We were at a picnic outside in a wooded area, so it could have been something with trees, grass, etc but she has not tested positive for any environmental allergens. She also came in contact with a dog and has a mild dog allergy, but this would be a first for the hives and a dog. My biggest concerns is if there could be something in the Snapple that caused the reaction.
