Hello. My wife has recently (2-3 days) developed urticaria( right breast, right shoulder and right upper trap). Tonight while examining her painful neck I noticed a painful soft/ movable lymph node in the posterior cervical chain. It is less than 1 cm in size. How conserned should we be? I realize this can be occur due to many different causes. The presentation of both hives and swollen lymph nodes has me very concerned. Is this a common presentation? Antihistamines don t seem to be effective in reducing her hives. No fever, night sweats, fatigue or other odd symptoms gave occurred. Thank you for your help. Regards, Conserned husband and father
