I have some horseshoe shaped skin lesions on my arm. They are under a tatooo that I have not had work on for over 10 years and no where else. They have been there for about 3 or 4 months now and I have treated them with antifungal cream as initially I thought they might be ringworm. It looked as if they were getting better but they have not gone completely although it did settle down a lot there are still some there and smaller new ones as well. It is not at all itchy or sore and in fact it is quite difficult to see them as they are under a black tattoo. I have a mild lupus diagnosis but not sure which type really as I don't show any of the classic signs even though I have positive blood markers Ro and ANA. I do get bad raynauds and chillblains in the winter and have had a positive biopsy for chillblain lupus. I can't get an appt for my rheumatologist for three months so am wondering.... are these skin lesions a form of cutaneous lupus erythematosus or are they ringworm which needs more agressive treatment, or are they another dermatological issue? Any help and ideas for interim treatment much appreciated
