What Causes Hyper Salivation Along With Dry And Chapped Lips?
Hi Doctor,Can anyone please help me? I have very difficulty of hypersalivation. My mouth is constantly full of saliva and I can t communicate with people confidently. Also my lips are always dry and chipped. Also i had stomach problem. Constant constipation and cant digest properly.I tried many doctors and also tried Omeparazole but did not help.Dont know what to do?Just looking for any advice. Please help me. Regards,Asif
As I was going through your medical history, I found out you are suffering of stomach problems. That's the cause to hyper-salivation (hyper-acidity of the stomach). I think you should get treated for a much longer period with Omeprazole or other PPIs than you are doing now. Plus, should check for mouth infections or inflammation. You should keep good oral hygiene.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
