Mild hypothermia (32-35°C), Moderate hypothermia (28-32°C), Severe hypothermia (<28°C). Causes for Hypothermia can be ?Decreased heat production (hypopituitarism, hypoadrenalism, and hypothyroidism), ?Increased heat loss (burns or psoriasis, vasodilatation from pharmacologic or toxicologic agents), ?Impaired thermoregulation (failure of the hypothalamus to regulate core body temperature, seen in CNS trauma, strokes, toxicologic and metabolic derangements, intracranial bleeding, Parkinson disease, CNS tumors, Wernicke disease, and multiple sclerosis). ?Sepsis, multiple trauma, pancreatitis, prolonged cardiac arrest, and uremia could be few other causes. If you can come on to the live chat with our doctors you may get a customised information about the drop in your temperature
