Hello. My 9 1/2 year old daughter has an inflamed sore behind her last molar. It is red and white and is causing her discomfort. She only told me about it this evening and gargled with warm salt water before bed. Should I take her to the dentist tomorrow or wait a couple of days to see if continued gargling helps?
Hi, Thanks for posting the query, This could be due to erruption of tooth, infection ulceration. I would suggest you to take your daughter to a Dentist and get her checkup done. Give her multivitamin suplements. Give her lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Take care!
