What Causes Inflammation In The Lower Intestines, Fever And Body Pain?

I have what feels like inflammation in my lower intestines. I was feeling like I had the flu for the first 2 days with achy body and fever. The fever and aches have subsided. Bowal movements were soft but normal now. still have sensitivity in my intestines. Can one have the flu that settles in the intestines? I ve never had any previous issues with my intestines.

your question is tricky one. flu is occure by virus, usually affect nose, throat and lungs. BUt virus infection can attack intestine. So, Diarrhoea is a main symptom. Your symptoms are mainly related to virus infection but less likely to intestine infection by virus. It might be any bacterial infection also.
