What Causes Inner Ear Infection Along With Hot Flushes?

Hi I ve had an inner ear infection which seems to have spread to my sinuses now. I had half a course of amoxicillin but had a skin reaction so am now finishing a weeks course of doxycycline. Earlier today I felt extremely hot inside but also my head felt hot and I looked flushed yet when I took my temp it was down to 35.8C. Why is this and should I go back Monday for further treatment or wait and see if my condition approves.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to an inner ear infection.

I suggest to continue using the antibiotic to treat the infection.

I also suggest using an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

Antibiotic eardrop can ease the symptoms.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
