What Causes Inter Menstrual Bleeding Along With Abdominal Pain And Acid Reflux?

I get my period lightly for a week, and then very heavy with large blood clots for another week. I am very easily angered, my stomach gets very bloated, I ve recently been getting heartburn really bad, sometimes I have cramping, and sometimes I get sharp pains that just about drop me to the floor. Last year I told my doctor and she did a vaginal ultra sound and said I had some small fibroids and it wasn t anything to worry about. It s really hard to get through a day of work with how heavy I bleed and the large clots I pass, plus my horrible heartburn. What can I do? Should I be concerned?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think your situation is due to fibromyoma of your uterus. This excessive bleeding apart from discomfort will give you anemia. You should go to a gynecologist and resolve this issue. Maybe surgery needs to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
