Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My last period was july 25th-28th my average cycle is 25 days . august 9th i had pinkish/red discharge that turned into me spotting and today august 10 i am still spotting . Im not filling up a whole pad but I almost am and i have very mild cramps , my next period isnt due till august 19th. Why am I bleeding?
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.
As per your history it seems to me the unusual bleeding of yours seems to me of mid period. That means the around two or three days after the ovulation, it is normal if it will be light and not more then two days of duration.
As it takes at least two days an egg to reach the Plantation site of uterus after ovulation because of that the endometrial linings gets eroded some times and cause bleeding. So it is normal some times. Second cause may be the PCOD, least chances than first.
If your bleeding does not stop, you need to visit a Gynecologist for further evaluation.
Hope the answer to your query, write us back in case you need further assistance.
Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
