What Causes Intermittent Ear Canal Numbness With Bug Crawling Feeling?
I have been experiencing daily, intermittent left ear canal numbness, like a bug is crawling in my ear ( there is no bug in my ear), It has been happening x 2 weeks. No hearing loss, HA etc. What could it be? I of course am convincing myself it is MS.

As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent ear canal numbness with bug crawling feeling which is because sometimes upper respiratory tract infection, when left untreated spread to ear through Eustachian tube and infect ear , which can cause pain and pressure in ear . Numbness can occur due to nerve dysfunction or infection as well. need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may examine with otoscope and can go for audiometric testing as well. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin along with anti inflammatory medications. If numbness or chemical test doesn't improve then consult neurologist . Avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object.
