What Causes Intermittent Pain And Large Mass Between The Ribs?
I have been having intermittent sharp stabbing pain under left ribs and just noticed left rib protrudes quite a bit more than right ribs. Also, have noticed, what I believe is a hernia/large lump/mass between my ribs, upper abdomen. What could this be
a thorough neuromuscular assessment and respiratory assessment is advised.
As the chances of hernia in that area of upper left quadrant is less you need to get a hands-on assessment post which a diagnostic ultrasound scanning will help further to assess if any thing in the abdominal region is there will be detected.
I advice you to get the abdominal scanning done and see what the other inputs can be provided
