What Causes Intermittent Tiredness And Sore Breasts During Pregnancy?
Hi, I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and some days I feel really tired and my breasts sligthly sore and other days like today, I feel nothing. Is there anything to be concerned about? Or does your body just adapt to the changes and HcG levels as it goes along? thanks
Breast soreness or tenderness is one of the earliest sign of pregnancy. It is due to surge in duo of estrogen and progesterone hormones. Presence of HCG is also a cause of breast soreness, as it changes the structure of breast tissue by mobilizing the fat in breast. This tenderness starts 4-6 weeks of pregnancy and lasts up to 1st trimester of pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
