I have a six year old boy and have recently noticed that he has one inverted nipple that is a different colour to the other normal nipple. The inverted one is pale in colour and also has small like bead looking lups around it. The other is nipple is a normal healthy lookinh colour. He also is under great orlmand street for respiratory problems. Please can you advise if this is anything to worry about.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

It will be fine if you can send us a picture- this will give us a more clear idea. Anyhow, if there is no pain or any discharge, nothing to be worried. Hopefully, this will get corrected its own with time. The small dots represent normal glands of areola.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
