What Causes Irregular Heart Beats Along With Fatigue And Headache?

i have noticed that my heart is beating irregulary (harder and faster in spurts) her recently. I notice it throughout the day and especially at night when i lay down to go to sleep. I have been very tired/drained feeling and wake up almost daily with severe headaches. I have been under a lot of stress recently just loosing my father in law end of February and now my stepfather a few days ago. I noticed my symptoms prior to this, but they have drastically intensified with the stress. should I be worried about my heart, or should chalk it up to stress? I don t want to go to the doctor for no reason but heart disease runs in my family, especially hypertension. Ive always thought because I am female that I don t have to worry about this but now I am starting to worry.

Hello,

I see you are experiencing lots of stress but this doesn't mean you neglect your health.

All that has happened to your family has affected you, and maybe by the symptoms you describe you are having signs of depression but no rush!

First I suggest you have a visit to the cardiology ta have an ECG done to exclude any heart problem.

A blood test and thyroid hormonal test. After these consult with your primary care physician to see where is the problem.
