What Causes Irregular Periods After Delivery?

Hello Dr.
I am 34 years old and had recently delivered a baby(one, 6 month old baby), I had my menstrual cycle started after 4 months of delivery. I have it only for one month and then again it stopped. What should I do now. Is it a normal and a general case?
