What Causes Irregularities In Menstrual Cycles After Discontinuation Of Contraceptive Pills?
I have turner syndrome and was just diagnosed with pre menopause...I haven t had a period since I stopped taking birth control in june. the doctor put me on estrogen and progesterone. how can I tell when the best time to try conceiving is if I don t have my periods? trying for a baby while waiting to get into the fertility clinic...
You would not likely be able to conceive if you are not having regular periods. The blood that is seen during the periods was previously lining the uterus in preparation of a baby. If it does not form this may indicate that the lining is not being prepared adequately.
This may be related to abnormal levels of hormones which can be corrected. When your periods do start, then ovulation is thought to occur 10 to 14 days after the onset of the period.
I hope this helps
