Your mother had seizures and then she is having mood swings, irritation, dullness. Minutes to days before or after a seizure there may be changes in behavior, mood, personality. You may see irritability, hyperactivity, inattentiveness, verbal or physical aggression, etc. in patients suffering from seizures.
Such symptoms are common in these patients and may be due to withdrawals or side effects. The treatment is a combination of conservative treatment and physical therapy like behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy or interpersonal therapy, etc., under a physiotherapist. Do not make her stressed up. Let her stay well fed, hydrated and get follow up clinical check ups done routinely.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
