What Causes Itchiness And White Coating On The Vagina Despite Using Metronidazole?
I was diagnosis with a bateria infection in my vaginal area. I have been taking Metronidazole 500 MG for 5 days now. I still have an itching sensation down there. I have also noticed a white film every where down there. Is this normal and when will this discomfort go away? I been using monistat on the outside to subside the itching and it just burns when I first put it on.
You should go back to your treating physician and get a culture and sensitivity of the discharge done so we can know which infection we are dealing with and then treat accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
