What Causes Itching Around The Penis?
Dear Doctor, I am 30 years old and My wife is 26. We are so faithful to each other in our conjugal life. One day my wife felt pain during intercourse and later on found itch and burn when uterine. I observe that the vagina was red inside and milky wet that was so bad scent. On the next day I found some wart around my penis which painless but itching sometimes. what are our diseases? pls help us... Polash, Bangladesh

The history and symptoms are suggestive of fungal infection. The fungal infections are very much common in the genital region, because the fungus are the normal comensals of the genital area which are kept under control by the helpful organisms.
Whenever there is a change in the environment it will activate multiply and produces the symptoms of itching and foul smelling whitish discharge.
For the present symptoms I would suggest partners to follow
1.Keep the area dry and clean.
2.Tab Diflucan, 150 mg single dose should be taken by the couple.
3.Oral antihistamines to reduce itching.
4.Topical application of anti fungal cream.
