What Causes Itching Followed By Puffy Spot In Center Of Eye?
I rubbed my eyes really hard today. They were itching like crazy. Now I have a gelatin-like puffy place that looks like a contact lens off center on my eye. I am 53, 5 09 , weigh 270 and have had breast cancer. What have I done and what do I need to do from here? I ve done that before, and the coating re-adhered itself to my eye before this much time had gone by.

If you are still having intense itching , you need to start low potent steroids viz fluoro metholone under opthalmologist guidance with weekly tapering dose...which will give you instant relief from itching ... And also add lubricating eye drops to it... Carboxy methyl cellulose or hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose...
