What Causes Itching In Vagina And Irregular Discharge During Periods?

My question is about some problems I have been having lately. I get my period at the beginning of each month. This month I got it and it has disappeared fully yet except for two day. It got through the heavy part and lately has just been discharge that is very dark and blood globs. Today I started getting my heavy flow back and just recently 3 days ago I have started itching very badly after I wipe from going to the bathroom. I am not on birth control and have not done anything with anyone, so I could not have picked up something from someone. I have used nystatin cream the past few days it has helped take down the itching some but not really. So my question is what are the possibilities that this could be?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having,
1, yeast infection on the part.
2, there might be having some irritation or soreness due to poor hygiene during period.
Continue applying anti-fungal cream locally.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy particularly during period.
Change sanitary pads frequently.
