What Causes Itching Sensation In Vagina And Yellow Discharge During Pregnancy?
Hi,Ever since I ve been pregnant I ve had an itchy swollen vagina withia dark yello discharge, I thought it was thrush so I had thrush creams etc. However since having my baby it s just gotten worse to the point I have to wear sanitary towels every day otherwise the discharge leaks and its now brown in colour.its become unbearable and it s that itch that I end up scratching until my skin is cracked and bleeding.
This is most probably a bacterial infection and not thrush, so please get the following done:
-Urine culture and sensitivity examination -Vaginal swab test -Blood profile
Also avoid sexual contact or masturbating, change your inner wear regularly and also try to up your level of hygiene in the meantime. Please try to visit a doctor at the earliest or write to me using our premium service for a more confidential discussion.
Best wishes.
