What Causes Itchy And Red Bumps On Mons Pubis?
Hello, I ve been having reddish and itchy bumps on my mons pubis for about 3 days or so less than a week. It all started as a rash until I noticed the reddish bumps forming from the rash. I ve never had these kind of bumps before. Can you please tell me if it s something I should worry about?

It could be pearly penile papules or balanoposthitis or small boil or cystic acne or herpes but needs to be inspected by the naked eye to arrive at a certain diagnosis.
So,The important thing is to diagnose it first by a clinical examination by a general surgeon by doing inspection and palpation.
The following treatment would be helpful.
1) Hot Sitz bath-Sit for 15-- 20 minutes and also clean off any clear or whitish secretion. Do it at least twice a day.
2. Local Steroid cream/ointment application- Clean off and wipe off the area clean and dry,following which apply local Steroid Ointment Like Betamethasone The bump should start subsiding after 2-3 of Ointment application.
3. You can be given oral antibiotics like cephalosporins (cefadroxyl or cefixime) or quinolones or macrolides.
Consult your general surgeon for complete history and thoroughly clinical examination and further treatment.
