What Causes Itchy Bumps And Rashes All Over Body?

My daughter has had a rash on her entire body, including her face for the last month. It is very itchy all day & night. About 2 weeks ago the rash looked like it was going away and was not as itchy. Then the bumps appeared again all over. They are pimple like bumps, some large some small. She has not been introduced to anything new so thinking it's not an allergy. Did have one doctor say maybe scabies but there are no track marks and no one else in the family has the itchy rash. Wondering your thoughts on this. Thanks!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain itchy bumps and rashes all over the body can be due to any allergic reaction to any unknown allergen, while can also be due to mite infestation leading to scabies..
It can also be due to aggressive folliculitis etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get her evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and also advise you investigations like allergic tests, complete blood picture to rule out the exact cause of the problem and treat accordingly..
She can be advised to take anti allergics like benadryl, topical steroid application and cool compresses and application of calamine lotion in case of allergic reaction..
In case of scabies she can be advised to apply topical Prethermin and oral Ivermectin..
She can be advised to take antibiotics and topical application of antiseptic and steroid ointments in case of folliculitis..
