What Causes Joint Pain In The Right Ankle While Suffering From Typhoid?

My 6 year old son is running with typhoid fever. Today is 6th day. Taking cefixime 200 mg BD . Only once fever was 101.7 F in 3pm during last two days . He is having joint pain only in right ankle, left and right knee and left shoulder joint .Now only cefixime 200 mg BD is giving to complete the 7day treatment. No paracetamol is given because of no fever. Please guide

Hello,

In typhoid, it’s common to have joint pains. No need to worry about it. Take rest, adequate fluids. Take paracetamol 650mg sos Still it is there, then you can take tab diclofenac 50mg sos. Take Pantoprazole also
