What Causes Ketones In Urine Of A Child?
my 2 year old potty trained during the day for the past 6 months has been having accidents in the day time, been urinating more at night soaking through his pull up and his sheets and today spilled a small amount of ketones in his urine (i happen to have ketone strips at home) should he be seen at pcp

If he is not having any other symptoms, I do not think a PCP visit is warranted as even simple starvation of a period of 8 hours can cause this.
