Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have server kidney pain for six months now it s getting extremely worse. I also have stomach pain and nausea really bad I am prescribed 6 4mg zofran aday. And it still dosent take it away. I also take carafate liquid four times aday. And protonixs twice aday. It feels like someone is hitting my kidneys with a baseball bat. I have no pain while peeing. I just don t pee much
Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have Renal stone. You need to do a Digital x-ray KUB and USG lower abdomen. In this situation, I suggest you non-steroids anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen 400 two times a day for pain management. Take plenty of water and avoid high-fat diet. Lifestyle modification and regular exercise also helps.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
