What Causes Lack Of Menstruation After Taking Misoprostol?

My wife is 32 yrs and she had 2 spot bleedind 2 days before. She did pregency check and showed Pregenant. Her cycle was uneven and did course to make in time. But last month cycle bleeding was much less. This month only two spot bleeding..

We have seen Gynecologist and advised as to take Misoprosol 2 tabs each night for two days. But there is no bleeding from day one after taking 2 tabs on first day do we need to see result of bleeding after second day 2 tab is taken for the result....

Please let me know ... thannks

Hello dear
I understand your concern

Absence of bleeding can be due to inadequate does, ectopic pregnancy.
It is used for the termination of intrauterine pregnancy after USG scan.
I advise you to consult the gynecologist and undergo USG scan.
If still pregnancy is there it can be terminate by extra dose of the misoprostol or by D & C surgical procedure.
Take proper rest, and healthy diet.
