What Causes Lag In Gestational Age After Undergoing IVF?

hi..I recently did ivf with a 3 day transfer and had a positive beta July 4. betas continue to double. Went for my first transvaginal u/s and was told I am 5 weeks but I should be 6 weeks since last LMP was June 4. Why am I a week behind? is this normal? Also we only saw a gestational sac.

hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion 1 week lag might be normal.And at 5 weeks only gestational sac might be seen.Dont worry i suggest you to do repeat the scan after 2 weeks to confirm the status of pregnancy.Avoid stress and continue medicines suggested by your consultant.
