What Causes Large Number Of T2 Hyperintensities Showed In A Brain MRI?
I am a 73 year old woman with atrial fibrillation and so am on warfarin. Due to head and neck pain, the doctor had me have a MRI which showed a large number of T2 hyperintensities throughout the white matter consistent with microvascular ischemic changes. There was not acute brain abnormality seen, as to doctor's report. I realize this has to do with aging. What else should I know?
