What Causes Left Abdominal Pain And Bloating While On Flagyl And Cipro For Diverticulitis?
I was diagnosed with my 2nd bout of diverticulitis 1 week ago. I am taking flagyl and cipro. Over the past 3 days, I have developed pain in my upper left quad. I feel bloated, the pain wraps around my flank into my back right under the ribs. It hurts worse with every inhalation and upon palpating.

I suggest to do an abdominal ultrasound for further evalaution.
Meanwhile, I suggest to use a spasmolytic such as Buscopan to relieve the pain.
I also suggest using Simethicone medication to relieve the bloating.
