Hello there, I can understand your concern. First of all it would have helped to know your levels of cholesterol and sugars. Cause borderline, according to some guidelines are supposed to be treated after weighing the risks. Your chest pain although could be gastric (acidity ) or muscular pain but we cannot ignore it in these days of younger heart problems. Considering your sedentary lifestyle I would say please get an ECG done and visit a physician who can examine you and go through your reports and suggest treatment if any required. Till then try to change your diet pattern by reducing carbohydrate content and including lots of vegetables and salads in each meal. Do not start exercise now without getting your heart status checked. There is no need to panic but do not ignore. Hope this helps. Take care.
