What Causes Left Side Chest Pain?

hello sir, i am having pain in my left chest for past 3 days. i travel a lot. after my recent trip i am experiencing heavy gas trouble. hw do i differ whether this chest pain is of gas trouble or of heart diseases. Can you suggest me a good medicine for this gas trouble.
