What Causes Left-sided Chest Pain And Mild Cough Long After Heart Surgery?

I had heart surgery. July 7 2015. Since my surgery I have had some numbness on the left side of my chest. Recently I have had a mild cough followed with a greenish mucus that I would spit up. I have developed a pain in my left side ever since I started coughing. I didn t think to much into the pain considering after a nights sleep it would feel better until I started to cough again. Last week I may have over did some strenuous activity that has ledto a more discomforting pain on the left side of my chest. This morning while reaching across my bed into the floor for my little dog I felt a poping noise in my chest which has left me in pain barely able to move my arm or turn my head without a sharp pain in my chest and neck area. It has made breathing deep as well as my neck have sharp pains and I can barely move this left side of my upper torso without discomfort any suggestions as to what is going on

I really appreciate your concern, underlying cause of the cough and other symptoms of chest is matter of concern, it may be allergic condition most of the time if does not have fever, fatigue, breathing difficulty, you can wait for some time and it will be fine, if not then it may needs some investigation, cardiac medicine may be the cause too particularly if this is the ACE inhibitor hope this information helps.
