General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The liquid in the lungs in your case is possibly related to TB infection. If you are not treated and are not in remission the fluid accumulation may be repeated. The only way to drain it is by inserting a tube.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
