What Causes Left Sided Radiating Pain From Upper Chest To Ribs?

I m an 18 year old male. I have what I would describe as heart tightness below the left pectorialis major that radiates over my left ribs. It is induced by certain postures. Slouching seems to bring it on for example. I ve had it for a long time and it seems to just come and go. It is not exercise-induced. I m struggling to know whether it is psychosomatic or something to worry about. I have a normal BMI, good diet and exercise regularly. However my heart rate is higher then normal - around 80bpm and am not sure whether I have raised blood pressure. Thanks for your time.

heart disease is very rare in adolescent age, as you have mentioned you have normal BMI, normal blood sugar and no diabetes mellitus. considering your age and health I personally believe that it is due to some trauma which may be due to biking or sports or posture. I suggest you to please get your X ray cervical spine done and consult afterwords
