What Causes Leg Pain With Shortness Of Breath And Rapid Heart Rate?
I have horrible pain in my left leg well its from the top of my thigh all the way down my leg knee the worst while I m sleeping and the left leg is swollen a little, this has been going on for months now and only getting worse now for the last month I have had horrible shortness of breath and constant rapid heart rate....the leg hurts sometimes in the day but that only about 10% it hurts 100% while sleeping every night and very painful YYYY@YYYY
It can be due to an underlying problem affecting the heart. Your symptoms indicate there is a problem in the heart due to:
- Deep venous thrombosis from varicose veins. This problem can cause difficulty in breathing, pain in chest and rapid heart rate.
I suggest you get examined by a cardiologist so that it can be appropriately managed.
