Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a fit person, but have Fibromyalgia. (20 years of the disease) I am 43 years old. I have noticed that for the past few years, my legs shake almost out of control as I walk down stairs. I can still kick a soccer ball and have good leg strength but wonder what this could be? Have you ever heard of this and what it may be. What type of Dr should I go to? A Neurologist maybe? Thanks
There are few causes for such a symptom like RLS (restless leg syndrome). It also could be associated with fibromyalgia. I would advise you to visit a neurologist and get your tests done to arrive at a definitive cause.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
