What Causes Light Brown Bleeding After Taking Plan B?
I recently just finished my period on the 7th of this month and last Friday had unprotected sex, I took Plan b the next day but then today I went to the restroom and noticed a book stain and when I cleaned down there it was light pinkish/brown. Since then I ve been bleeding lightly not alot. But last month around 11 days ago from having sex I had unprotected sex again and took Plan b. Is it possible it d just a side affect or could I be pregnant?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
It is normal to get breakthrough bleeding after taking Plan B. Periods can get irregular for next time also. Nothing to worry. It will get normalized. Better to do urine pregnancy test on the expecting date of next period for being on safe side.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
